Of course all politicians ,democrats or republicans, already have the best medical care in the world ( the best nedical care our money can buy for them !), so please do not touch it !!

Fake right-wing decency outrage is nothing new, but I can't help taking this latest Fox News hootenanny more personally because I live in San Francisco and know some of the people involved. The problem here isn't just that the Fox journalites(*) are being hypocritical, since the Bush administration had no problem giving money to some of the same groups, etc. The problem is also that they got all the facts wrong, like really really really very wrong, either because they are dumb, or they're counting on their audience to be dumb, or they just don't care.

1. Frameline is not a "film house", or a movie production company. It's a foundation that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender filmmakers through grants, distribution, and (most visibly) an annual international film festival that's quite a big deal. Since this is San Francisco, it's not a huge surprise when they throw in a revival showing of something raunchy like Thundercrack!, a no-budget cult movie from 1975 which one of these Fox chuckleheads seems to think is (a) new and (b) made by Frameline (c) on the government dime. To understand how bogus that description is, there's no need to be up to date on GLBT film history; reading the brochure for the festival or looking at their website would do just fine.

2. Perverts Put Out! is not a party(!) or a "nude sex dance" show (!!) (**) or a "web company" (!?). It's a reading. Writers stand in front of a microphone and read stories and poems. They're usually pretty dirty, and usually pretty funny. They don't get money from the government; CounterPulse, which provides the theater where they perform, does get money from the government but PPO doesn't get money from the theater either. They rent the place and give money to the theater -- it's a benefit. The more people buy tickets to see these writers tell dirty stories (for no pay), the less money the theater needs from other sources. If PPO were actually put on once a week (as the Fox chuckleheads claim), rather than every few months, and if 5,000 people went to see it instead of 50, CounterPulse might be entirely self-supporting -- or even give some money back to the government, so it could finally get that nice gun it's been saving up for!

(Note to Fox chucklehead who wonders, but doesn't really want to know, what "pansexual" means: it means they include writers with all kinds of sexual orientations. I realize it's no accident that the outrage-of-the-moment is all about The Gay, but you might be even more horrified to realize that there are straight people mixed up in these doings too.)

This kind of stuff would take about 10 seconds to find out on the Internet. Unfortunately, the speed of bullshit is hard to measure; it may even be infinite. Tune in next week for an ABC Special Report on how "some say" the infamous Pervline Partyhouse is spending all our stimulus money to make Internet gorilla porn.

I'm a United States Army veteran. In the history of the United States if any one wants to look at it, gives a consise politacal view, a view by the citizen populus that the people have the right to bear and keep firearms. It was those people who kept those arms that took it upon themselves to form an army to conquer the approaching British Crown to include the tyranny that goes along with monarchy. The Army had to be formed by asking its citezens to take up arms to assit in the defence of our country and its constitution. Without those volunteer citizens Gen. Washington would have gotten the worst ass kicking that ever was. Do we as an american people want those like The Brady Bunch, and the newly elected goverment, that by the way has let Militant members of the Black Panter Party to go free after being charged with major crimes. We need our guns to protect against these idiots.

Speaking as a recent buyer of a used Japanese car from Mexico, Detroit is going bankrupt because American cars ARE CRAP IMHO. It's not the unions, it's not regulation, it's nothing complicated, they're just fragile, gas-guzzling monstrocities that are as hard to park as they are to handle (you try finding parallel parking space for an extra long truck in rush hour) and require expensive spare parts. I had a choice between a '92 Nissan Sunny (which I bought) and a '94 Ford Thunderbird, and the thunderbird was actually nearly half the price of the sunny but I still bought the Nissan, why? because whatever I could have saved in initial price would have evaporated within two years in fuel, maintenance and spare parts (rule of thumb, Ford cars spare parts go between 2-3 times what Nissan spares cost here). You could substract those $1200 from each car and people still wouldn't buy them because they're STILL overpriced crap. And rest assured when I save enough money to buy a new car from a distributor in a few years, it will NOT be an American car, regardless of cost.

Protip: American car companies, if you want MY business, stop shoving plastic crap under the hood, and stop charging me ridiculous amounts of cash for fiberglass body parts. And don't give me that crap about "fuel efficiency", fuel efficient sturdy cars are as old as the original Willys Jeep and VW bug. I'm not buying a disposable plastic radiatior, I want the GOOD metal stuff like you used to make during the 50's, 60's and early-mid 70's.

You can talk about personal responsability and rightly so, they should in theory let them fail, but blaming the unions and suppliers for inflating costs while Detroit's been trying to cram awful product in the market in the face of better competition for the past two decades is disingenuous at best.

It's been months since President Obama pursues his position. But let's be honest, I don't see any changes about our economy, still we are in recession. But did you here the news about ACORN or also known as Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now? Well, ACORN fell far from their liability tree, and they losing fast in their credibility and winding up as being portrayed as nuts. The Congressional representatives were progressively more resistant on listening to the group, after allegations (even some convictions) of voter fraud, and other abnormalities for a social altruism group. President Obama and his ties to this band of malcontents are coming under more scrutiny, especially after the introduction of HR 1388, a bill that would virtually mandate volunteer activities – indistinguishable to a violation of the Constitution. I think they may all need payday loans, because if they keep up their tomfoolery, everyone on the board of ACORN may have to get new job. Well president, I do think you should act faster before you realize you have nothing but miseries of your people.
